Welcome to The Walking Dead Comics section, The Walking Dead Comics are published by Image Comics and started in 2003, the main character is Rick Grimes a police officer from Cynthiana, Kentucky. It story follows him and other survivors including his family as they attempt to create a life in a world overrun by zombies. The series starts off with Rick and his partner Shane being caught in a gunfight, Rick is shot and then next thing he knows, he is waking up in the hospital from a coma to find the hospital and town inhabited by zombies. Rick heads to his home and then decides it's best to head for Atlanta. Upon arrival he discovers Atlanta is swarming with zombies and is aided by Glenn. He then manages to find his wife Lori and son Carl are alive and they attempt to find a safe haven to set up a camp.
