X-Men Comic Books and Graphic Novels

Welcome to The X-Men Comics section, X-Men Comics are published by Marvel Comics, As everyone knows the X-Men are a team of Super-hero Mutants which over the years has included Professor Charles Xavier, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Rogue, Jubilee, Gambit, Colossus, Beast, Storm, Banshee, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Angel, Havok, Psylocke and many more.

The X-Men was founded by Professor Charles Xavier under the cover of a School for Gifted Youngsters, throughout the years there has been many storylines and series many of them doing battle to save mankind and fighting Magneto. There are several different X-Men comics out currently, including Uncanny X-Men, Essential X-men, Astonishing X-Men, X-Men, X-Factor, Uncanny X-Force, Generation Hope, X-Schism and X-23.

Charles Xavier

Charles Xavier also known as Professor X is a high-level telepath, he can control and read peoples mind, he is also a scientific genius. He met Magneto whilst in Israel at a Holocaust victims clinic, Magneto worked there and they became good friends. They eventually go their separate ways mainly due to their differing views on the mutant/human debate. Xavier goes on the form the School for Gifted Youngsters and creates the X-Men.

Magneto

Magneto real name Max Eisenhardt is the main villain in the X-Men, he is a very powerful mutant who can control any metal objects. After surviving the Holocaust Magneto was determined to protect mutantkind from a similar fate.

Cyclops

Cyclops real name Scott Summers is one of the main members of the X-Men, he can shoot powerful beams from his eyes so wears a visor to control this. When he is sixteen he runs away from the orphanage and is taken in by Charles Xavier and becomes the 1st official X-Men member. He has a long term relationship with Jean Grey an extremely powerful telepathic mutant.

Jean Grey

Jean Grey also known as Phoenix, she is a very powerful mutant with both telepathic and telekinetic powers. She is so powerful Charles Xavier had to put a mental block on her when she was a child so only a certain amount of her powers were accessible, she is one of the original and main members of the X-Men.

Storm

Storm is one of the main members of the X-Men, she can control the weather, creating thunderstorms, hurricanes, lightning storms etc during battle, she can also see in near darkness.

Sebastian Shaw

Sebastian Shaw is a mutant who is able to absorb energy and transform it into raw strength. He is the leader of the Hellfire Club, as Leader Shaw focused on world domination through his powerful connections with the government and large corporations. Because of this Shaw became enemies with the X-Men.

Rogue

Rogue is a mutant, when she touches another mutant she absorbs their powers and strength temporally, she joined the X-Men after being in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants where she was raised by Mystique.

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler is covered in blue fur, has bright yellow eyes and a tail, he is very agile and can climb walls with his adhesive hands and feet and can also teleport. His mother is Mystique and father is Azazel. Nightcrawler grew up in the circus before joining the X-Men.

Gambit

Gambit (Remy Etienne LeBeau) is a mutant that can manipulate kinetic energy, he can transfer the energy to objects and does it often with throwing cards, he also always has a Bo staff that he uses when in combat. Being a professional thief a lot of the X-Men did not trust him but he does eventually gain their trust and joins the X-Men.

Colossus

Colossus is a Russian mutant and a member of the X-Men, he can change so his entire body becomes metal, he is a gentle giant standing at 6’7” and tries his best not to hurt anyone unless absolutely necessary.

Beast

Beast is a highly intelligent mutant, covered completely in blue fur, he has fangs and claws, oversized feet and hands and possesses superhuman strength and agility. He is a world authority on Genetics and Biochemistry. He actively fights for mutant rights and is a member if the X-Men.
