Q How will my order be packaged?

A All comics are inserted in high quality bags and boards as standard and posted in cardboard book mailers, Graphic Novels are inserted in high quality bags where possible and posted in cardboard boxes.

Q I want to amend my order after hitting the Place Order Now button?

A When you press the place order now button you are redirected to the payment gateway either Paypal or Worldway, the best way to get back to your basket is hit the cancel button on the page. This will redirect you back to our website and your basket.

If you do not hit the cancel button and simply close down the payment gateway page the system saves your order and it cannot be amended by the customer. If you do this please email us at jenny@thecomicbookstore.co.uk or call us on 01875 825 503, we can then cancel the order so you can do a new order.

Q I can't find the Checkout/View Basket button?

A This is located at the top right hand corner of the website, if it is not visible please try refreshing the page once or twice and if this does not work please email us at jenny@thecomicbookstore.co.uk

Q What methods of payment do you accept?

A The payment gateway options are PayPal, personal cheques and Worldpay.

Q Where do I send my cheque to?

A Cheques should be made payable to The Comic Book Store and sent to The Comic Book Store, 5 Carlowrie Place, Gorebridge EH23 4XL.

Q What is your refund policy?

A If you don't receive your goods within 14 days or 28 days overseas, we will give you the option of a full refund or if you wish we will try sending your order again. For up to three days after you place your order, you can cancel it. If we've already processed the order you will have to return the comics then we'll give you a full refund of the comic books only. Postage for returning order is at the customer's expense.

Q How much is postage?

A Postage is charged at a flat rate of £2.00, orders over £25.00 qualify for free delivery.

Q When should I except to receive my order?

A All orders are posted 1st class royal mail, your order will be posted on the same day or the next working day, delivery usually takes 2-3 working days, please allow 7 working days to receive your delivery.

Q Is there a cut off time for placing an order for next day delivery?

A Yes the order must be paid for by 3pm in order to be received the next day, If ordering on a Saturday for Monday guaranteed delivery the order must be placed by 10.30am.

Q Do you offer downloadable comics?

A We are in the process of adding this feature to the site, we will keep you informed of any updates on this via our Facebook and twitter updates.
